When is Convention?

March 30 – April 1, 2012. A full schedule of events can be found here.

How do I reserve a hotel room? Do I have to stay at the hotel? 

We have reserved a room block at the DoubleTree Downtown Richmond at a special room rate of $99/night. You can reserve you room here. You are not required to stay at the DoubleTree, however almost all Convention business is being held here and is convenient to the weekend’s schedule. This is in addition to the special room rate we have been given.

What about my meals? Are any included with my registration?

Meals included in your registration costs are breakfast and lunch on Saturday, as well as brunch on Sunday. There is a banquet Saturday evening which is at an additional cost of your registration fee. YD tickets to the banquet are $30.

What about transportation? How do I get around?

We have taken every precaution to be sure that there are places in  walking distance for anything you may need, or would like to do in addition to the weekend’s events. Transportation will be provided to the banquet located at The Hat Factory about 1-2 miles away from the hotel. In addition, the DoubleTree has several shuttles that are available to those staying at the hotel.

What is the dress code for the weekend?

There is no required dress code for convention business; however there will be many representatives around for the weekend and it is always important to keep in mind to “dress for success.” Dress for the banquet is business/formal business wear.
